Louise Jackson

Registered Psychologist

MSc (Forensic Psychology), MNZPsS

Louise draws on 20 years of experience in the mental health and wellbeing sector. She brings specialist experience in professional supervision, forensic psychology, working with groups and facilitating training workshops. 

​

Louise was Principal Advisor of Training and Design for the Chief Psychologist's Office of Ara Poutama Aotearoa, Department of Corrections and lectured at Victoria University. She has also worked in the UK, for child support services,  and ACC. Louise has experience providing specialist medico-legal assessments, and supporting people who have experienced trauma.

Louise’s approach is collaborative, strengths-based and compassionate. She takes evidence-based methods and translates these into tangible steps to improve wellbeing and resilience.

​

Outside of her mahi (work), Louise enjoys checking out the eateries that our windy capital has on offer with her partner and friends, as well as hiking in the beautiful forests of Aotearoa. Louise is based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.
