Colette Hamman

Colette (she/her) is a wonderful Clinical Psychologist on our team with a special interest in adult ADHD assessment. She is passionate about providing high-quality care that is both clinically rigorous and genuinely human.

Colette was drawn to ADHD assessment after seeing how meaningful a thoughtful and supportive assessment process can be, and how rarely people get to experience one. She brings a warm, caring and approachable style to her work, with clients describing her as reliable, knowledgeable and easy to talk to, with a warm sense of humour.

​

Colette’s clinical experience spans Aotearoa New Zealand and South Africa, including work across hospital, forensic and general adult mental health settings. She has also supported adults who have experienced psychological trauma and is mindful of the ways trauma can shape people’s experiences and wellbeing. Her postgraduate research was published internationally in Critical Arts.

Outside of her psychology practice, Colette is a devoted cat lover. In her spare time, she enjoys treasure hunting in op shops and getting lost in a good novel. She is based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

Originally from South Africa, Colette also speaks Afrikaans.
