I think coaching was the best and most efficient way to mature my professional self.
Steph, Partner, PwC
I got immense value from my coaching experience. I have learned a great deal about how to process situations that are tricky to navigate and how to show up in the best way.

Dr Kirsty Agar-Jacomb
Consultant Clinical and Coaching Psychologist
DClinPsych, MNZPsS, MISCP, MICF
Kirsty (she/her) is an executive coach based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland offering coaching, professional supervision, and consultation to our organisational clients. With over 25 years of training and experience, Kirsty has deep expertise in the areas of workplace wellbeing, mental health, and leadership.
Kirsty works with senior leaders operating under pressure in complex organisational systems. She partners with executives and senior leaders to build clarity, authority, and traction when the stakes are high, decisions are complex, and visibility is unavoidable.
As an Accredited Coaching Psychologist, Kirsty works with C-suite and senior leaders across the private, public, and for-purpose sectors. This is not therapy or skills training, but sustained, strategic coaching psychology designed for leaders whose roles carry real consequences.
Kirsty supports leaders to:
-
Make decisions under pressure, and hold authority while doing it
-
Navigate complexity, competing demands, and organisational dynamics
-
Lead through transition, increased scope, and heightened visibility
-
Work effectively with stakeholders, relationships, and influence
-
Sustain performance, resilience, and wellbeing in demanding roles
Kirsty has a particular interest in supporting women in leadership, especially where questions of visibility, authority, and influence are in play.
Her style is thoughtful, challenging, and grounded in real-world leadership contexts. She names patterns, surfaces what is often unspoken, and supports leaders to develop the internal authority to lead well over time. Her work draws on developmental coaching psychology, Acceptance and Commitment approaches, systems thinking, positive psychology, and neuroscience.
Outside of her mahi (work) Kirsty enjoys reading non-fiction books and spending time with her family.
Kirsty can offer in-person appointments on special request in central Auckland.
